March 16, 1991 – July 23, 2026
With hearts that are shattered beyond words, we announce the passing of our beloved Britney Lyna Martin, lovingly known as “Mercedes,” on July 23, 2026, at the age of 35.
Born in Houston TX on March 16, 1991. Britney lived a life that, although far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and a spirit that could never be replaced. She had an energy that was contagious, a smile that could brighten even the darkest day, and a heart that welcomed everyone with kindness and compassion. She believed in forgiveness, loved deeply, and found joy in making others smile.
Above everything else, her children were her greatest blessing, her purpose, and the center of her world. There was nothing she loved more than being their mom. Every, every dream she had, and every ounce of love she carried was poured into Aubrie Mendez, Jordan Doyle, Alex Doyle, and Jayleigh Doyle. They were the light of her life, and her love for them will continue to live on in their hearts forever.
Britney was preceded in death by her father, Claude Martin Sr., and her brother-in-law, Xavier Gonzales. While we find comfort in believing they welcomed her with open arms, the loss of Britney leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who loved her.
Britney leaves behind her beloved children, husband, her loving family, and countless friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing her. The emptiness left by her passing cannot be described. She was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a friend, and a beautiful soul whose absence will be felt every single day.
Though we cannot understand why her journey ended so soon, we find comfort in knowing that love never dies. Her laughter will echo in our memories, her kindness will continue through the lives she touched, and her spirit will forever remain a part of all who knew and loved her.
While our hearts ache with unimaginable grief, we will choose to remember Britney not for the day we lost her, but for the countless days she gave us reasons to smile, laugh, and love. She will forever be missed, forever be cherished, and forever be loved.
