All our sympathies are with you today and in the days to come. Know that our hearts are with you each day. Carl was a true humanitarian and friend. We so enjoyed the time spent with the Limoncello's in Italy and the many times thereafter. It was truly a grand adventure and the best way to see and enjoy the treasures of Carl's Italy.

I was a very young girl when I met Dr.Battaglia at Planned Parenthood in Providence,R.I. He delivered my son in December of 1970 and told me he would not be in R.I. for my 6 week check-up,he was going to San Antonio,TX to work in the U.S. Air Force. My husband who had previously been in Roger Williams college, now with a new family, decided the only way to continue with his education would enlist in the Air Force. So in late Jan.1971 my husband went to the doctor on the base because his feet were giving him a problem and when he walked in Dr.Carl recognized him as the young father he recently met in R.I.After a lengthy exam,he decided it was best to release him from his duties and send him back to his family.
That changed our lives,we believe for the better.
We never forgot him and now my son is a chiropractor living in Illinois.
Our sincere condolences to all of his family.

May Carl rest in peace.

I remember him as a young boy at Classical High School. His position on the Traffic Squad was just outside my office door.

I am happy to see he grew up to have a good life and wonderful family.

I shall remember him in my prayers.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of Carl. Carl was my classmate at St. Pius along with his buddy, Angelo. I have not seen him in years, but every so often I look at old pictures of the class. It was also nice to see pictures of Carol.

Dr. B, such an amazing, loving and caring man. He will be missed greatly. A man who loved to live, eat his wife's fancy food (and brag during lunch with his 5 course meals), and do things for others.
A man I will remember forever. He meant the world to our family.
Much love,
Scott and Windy Rosemeyer
