She was born in Rome, NY on September 16th, 1942.
Carol graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1960 and subsequently earned her RN from Auburn Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.
Carol worked as a nurse for a few different organizations in New York and California before returning to New York to work at Beacon Correctional Facility until retirement.
She was a faithful member of Holy Comforter Anglican Church. Carol enjoyed working with the Board of Elections, senior trips, shopping, dining out and spending time with family and friends. Her biggest joy was her four beautiful granddaughters.
Carol was survived by her son, Wally Sasse, daughter, Holly Marshall, son-in-law Jon Marshall, and four beloved granddaughters, Faith Mauk, Alyssa Sasse, Emma Rose Marshall and Alexa Marshall.
A Requiem Mass will be held at 10 am, August 12th, at Holy Comforter Anglican Church in Poughkeepsie, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Holy Comforter Anglican Church in Poughkeepsie, NY, where Carol spent so much of her time and talent.
