Charles Ray Dudley, 76, of Conroe, Texas, passed away on November 11, 2024, after a long battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. He was born in Henderson, Texas, on May 10, 1948, nearly four months earlier than his due date, to Joe and Mildred Dudley of Jacksonville, Texas.

Charles enjoyed spending time outside gardening, paying special attention to his yellow roses, and raising a variety of fresh produce to can for future use or to add fresh flavoring into one of his other passions, cooking. He also loved singing karaoke (especially songs by George Strait or Toby Keith) going to the lake or the beach, and cherished spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his son Michael and son-in-law Adam of Austin, daughter Crystal and son-in-law Robert of Conroe, and stepson Johnny and daughter-in-law Michele of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Zenaida, Juan, Mario, Tyrisha, Kyelle, and Daniel; and great-grandchildren Molly and Ari.
