Christene Levinge, age 79, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023. Christene was born in Trinity, Texas on December 1, 1943. She was proceeded in death by her parents Charlie and Ila Mae, her brother Charles, her sister Darlene, and Richard's mother Vivian.
She was married to Richard Levinge on February 8, 1963. Richard and Christene began their journey in San Diego, California where he was stationed with the Navy. After returning to Texas, they began a small trucking company with her dispatching and billing trips, while Richard drove the truck. That business has flourished and become a multi-state trucking company with over 70 trucks in the fleet and 80 employees. It was truly a marriage of success in many respects.
Christene was proceeded in death by Richard on July 15, 2023. One could say that their love was a special bond that outlasted the 60 years they were married. They were a true kindred spirit and she has gone on to heaven to join him on their next journey.
Christene is survived by her daughters Tricia and Tina, their husbands Ricky and Trey, and their children Travis, Jake, Jack, and Kate. Christene is also survived by her brothers Terry and Albert and their wives Elaine and Adonna.
