Cora Annie Wilks Musgrave, age 78, known to everyone as Ann, of Shenandoah, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. She was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on June 3, 1944, and graduated from Ector High School in Odessa, Texas.
Ann worked in several fields during her life. She was a Licensed Barber and was a Barber for Lyndon Baines Johnson when she served the State of Texas while living in Austin. Ann also worked with her late husband Charlie in the home health care industry. Later in life, she worked with the State of Texas for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for several years from which she retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband Air Force Senior Master Sargeant Charles Chipman Musgrave, Jr., her son, Sidney Eugene Davis, Jr. (Gene) and her brothers Oran(Son) Wilks III, and Howard James (Jim) Wilks.
Ann is survived by her sister, Glenda McNallen Martin, and brother -in- law, Louis Ray Martin, of Houston, Texas. her son, Tracy Kevin Williams, his wife Missy, two granddaughters Mikayla and Marissa of Midland, Texas, nephews, David Michael McNallen of New Caney, and Howard James Wilks, Jr. (Jimmy) of Houston, Texas. Her nieces, Dana Michelle Perry of Porter,Texas, Amanda Ann Wilks of Atascocita, Texas and Celinda Zwerneman of Katy, Texas. She is also survived by her great nieces Savannah Cruz of Houston, Texas, Hannah Cruz of College Station, Texas, and Randi McNallen of New Caney, Texas along with a host of other friends.
A visitation/reception for Cora will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Forest Park - The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 3, 2023 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
A committal service will occur Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 3:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.
