Corporal Matt Finley, 32, of Spring passed away May 4, 2010, at his home. He was born July 11, 1977, in Houston. Matt is survived by his mother, Margie Trimble; father, David Finley; grandmother, Simone Finley; sister, Mendy Schneider and her husband, T.J.; niece, Tayten Schneider; nephew, Jaikin Schneider; uncles, Larry and Glen Finley; and aunt, Sarah Ellis.
Matt graduated from Nimitz High School and was employed with the Harris County Constables Office, Precinct 4. Law enforcement was Matt’s passion. He loved the Houston Texans and spending time on the lake. His family and friends were very important to him, and he will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., Sunday, May 9, 2010, in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 1:00 P.M., Monday, May 10, 2010, at The Ark Church, 450 Humble Tank Road, Conroe, TX 77304. Interment will follow in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
