Danielle Marie Devillier Blackmer, born March 29, 1988 in Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2020 surrounded by her family and friends. She fought a yearlong battle with Leukemia. Danielle was a wonderful and devoted wife, and a loving and nurturing mother of four beautiful children. She adored her amazing children, family, and friends.
She was kind, sweet, gentle and giving. Her kindness and compassion towards others were an inspiration to all. She loved God, crafting, bowling, the beach, sports, and especially JJ Watt.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Blackmer; her children, Talyn 10, Riley 9, Kacie 3, and Landon 1; her parents, mother,Wendy Devillier, father, Robert Devillier and his wife, Lucy Devillier, along with her
grandmothers, Marie Layden and Barbara Draper; grandparents, Landon and Lorraine Devillier; uncles and aunts, Keith Devillier, Richard and Randi Devillier, Dana and John Schmitt , Michael Greenhaw; cousins, Ashlee and Mike McDonald, Erin Kibler, Reed Kibler, Trey and Kelsey Schmitt, Corey and Kaitlyn Schmitt, Chad Devillier, Brittany and Mike Cabrera, Rachel Devillier; her best friend and Sister in Christ, Kelsey Stevens; as well as extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather Donald Layden, Aunt Donna Kibler, and Grandfather Ted Draper.
As we celebrate Danielle's life on Saturday, we ask all in attendance to wear something teal, as that was her favorite color.
