Dan was from Shreveport Louisiana, and a graduate of Louisiana Tech. Class of 1971.
He attended college on a baseball scholarship hence his continued love for baseball Especially the Houston Astros. Dan was a landman in the Oil and Gas industry at retirement.
He is survived by his wife Colleen (Jane) , his son Brooks and his wife Buket Rembert.
Two sons by choice, Mark Swenson and his wife April and Mike Swenson and his wife
Stacey. Also six grandchildren, Ryan and Lara Rembert, Tyler and Sunnie Swenson,
And Maverick and Rebekah Swenson. In addition, A special sister in law, Darleen Bates and brother in law Bob Neff.

A service will be held at Christ Church Methodist in The Woodlands, Texas on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10:30am
