David was born on December 24, 1977 my Christmas Eve baby! When I first looked in his little brown eyes, I knew he was very special. David was very hard headed and mind set from the time he could talk and walk! Very hyper and hard to keep up with most times, but he was very smart and knew what he wanted! David was always a giving person, at 4yrs old he had been taking our quarters and buying all the kids in our apartments soda from the coke machine, until he got busted, lol! he always gave other kids his ice cream and snacks, and even toys they liked, he gave them. At 7 yrs he started baseball (T-ball) he was so good at hitting the ball & had tremendous speed, his coach moved him up to Coach Pitch League, he was only in t-ball cause he had never played before. On coach pitch team, David hit that ball 95% of time to or over the fence!!! He was amazing, I was so proud, he was proud, it was great! His 2nd year he was 8 and was on team for his age group, 8&9 yr olds and boys pitched. After 2 games other coaches wanted to see his Birth Certificate because David was a Home Run Batter and a Strike Out Pitcher, they thought he was 10 or 11 yrs. David was Star player on all his teams and won many Trophey's as a team as well as Best Player Awards and game balls signed by his coaches and his team mates!! as yrs went by him getting older, his teams went to final play offs every year, and opposing teams knew his name and how well he played!! He quit playing when he became a teenager, we were so disapointed but his decision (think he was more interested in girls at that time :-)!) Anyway, these are just a few memories, I will share more another time. He's probably up there saying " C'mon Mom ur embarassing me!"  I LOVE YOU SON, GOOD NIGHT.

It's been 4 months since I lost my son David, and I still can't believe he's gone!! I have not been able to write to David or share my precious memories of him or tell any stories in memory of David, because it's been too hard for me to believe it's even real! I never in my wildest dreams even thought of one of my sons passing away before me, that's not how it's suppose to be in a Mother's eyes! The death of my first son David,has been the biggest and hardest thing I've ever been through in my life, my heart aches every minute of the day from missing and loving him so much. I'll write more later. David I love you so much and miss you so much...Love Mom

The moments we shared will always be memories cherished. We shared many laughs and I am grateful to have known David. I will always remember him as the sweet, gentle, fun, and loving David.  

Please be strong and accept my most sincere condolences; all my sympathy for family and friends at this tragic time.

Not a day will pass that i will not think of u and remember the blessin u were to all of us. Heaven is lucky to have an angel like u. And were r lucky to have u lookin over us. Ur love and memories live in our hearts forever.

 David first entered my life when he was just 14 years old,20 years ago. He was a loving young man and a very loving son and father. When I look at his baby pictures,it especially breaks my heart as this is the way every mother remembers her child no matter how old he is at death. He will be sadly missed by us all for the joy he brought. Most especially I pray blessings for his children as they won't get to grow up with him in their lives. I pray special blessings for his Mom as this is the nightmare every mother dreads. No child should die before their parents but we know he is with the Lord and that is a sweet blessing. I pray special blessings for his sister and brothers  that they will no longer have their brother to talk to and share lifes experiences with.I pray special blessings for his aunts and uncles and all of his cousins that will no longer have the pleasure of his company to share their love. I pray special blessings for his step Dad,Gene, who had really become so very close after David started working with him. They developed a true liking and respect for each other as men do that work well alongside each other. I pray special blessings for me and his other grandparents,Nonnie and Grand Dad and Mimi.We will miss him as one of our treasures and carry him always in our hearts. I finally say special blessings for his wife Summer. He and Summer were best friends and in love with each other. She along with his mom and children will need everyone's special prayers to weather this storm in their lives.I pray the Lord's peace that passes understanding over each one of them.I pray for His strength in each of their lives. There are no words to express what a true loss this is.  David was a very kind and sweet young man. I enjoyed working with and knowing David. My heart goes out to Gene and the rest of the family.
