Deborah Jo Young, 62, of Conroe Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019. She fought many courageous battles against pancreatic cancer and through them all she exemplified a saintly spirit with the will of a warrior. She earned the status of family matriarch by many devotional acts of love and her physical presence will be greatly missed. We are comforted in believing that she is busy fulfilling God’s spiritual work and we trust that she is actively interceding on our behalf.
Deborah was born in Oklahoma City Oklahoma on December 8, 1956 to Ralph and Margaret Bryen. She was raised in Yukon Oklahoma where she met her husband of 45 years Charles Young; they were married in Oklahoma City on May 14, 1973. They moved to Houston Texas in 1981 where she held various jobs in the Energy and Title industries. She later entered the Public Education system so she could spend more time raising her children as well as in helping struggling youth. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was active in several church events. Her first and foremost passion was her family and she devoted herself to them through the service of caregiving.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Ralph Donnell Bryen.
She is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren, Charles Young, Marshall Young and his wife Karen and their children Madison and Gavin, Candace Riddle and her husband Court and their children Bailey and Hayden, Matthew Young and his wife Natalie and their children Gabriella and Preston, her mother Margaret Bryen, siblings Ron and Kaye Bryen, Pat and Tom Griffin, sister-in-law Diane and Scott Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews.
