Dee Anne Crowley was a very special friend. We met years ago when we both taught first grade at Lamar Elementary in The Woodlands , Texas. Dee, as I called her was such a loving and caring teacher and this love showed even in those behaviorally challenged children and they seemed to all learn and thrive with her as a teacher. Dee's smile to all just had a glow about it and this smile and her strong faith in God drew people to her and more importantly to God. I believe was a picture of 1 Corinthians 13 when it says:" Love is patient, love is kind. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Dee was this way. She will be missed here on earth but she is so welcomed and loved , by our Father, God in Heaven now.

I will always remember the first time I met Mama Dee.  That's what I called her.  She and Missy joined our church lunch group.  We shared stories of our brain injuries.  She always had a sweet smile for me.  My favorite was her farewell of "sweet sweet" or "kiss kiss".  She will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry to lose this wonderful friend.   We had so many good times together. I loved her so much.  I am sending hugs, love and prayers for all the family.  Blessings.  Beverly Rice Holly

Very sorry to hear of Dee Ann passing, my sincere condolences to the family. She was one of the nicest and most good hearted people I’ve ever known.  When I joined the Wright family I never felt like a stranger when Dee Ann was there. 
Missy you did a great job caring for your mother.
