Dee was born on February 15, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to parents William Eady and Freida Shawlot. On August 2, 1957, she married the love of her life, James "Jim" W. Goebel, beginning a devoted marriage that spanned almost 5 decades. The couple raised their children, Brad, Lori, Lisa, and Darren, in a home filled with joy and love. Dee was the proud grandmother of Josh, Grant, Travis, and Shane and the adoring great grandmother of three.
Dee was preceded in death by her loving husband Jim Goebel. She is survived by her beloved children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Dee will be remembered for her compassion, her steady presence, and the way she connected so easily with both people and dogs. Her life was marked by kindness, loyalty, and a heart that always made room for one more paw.
