

Don is survived by his wife, Deborah McGee of The Woodlands, daughter Kodie McGee and future son-in-law, Cody Taylor, of Conroe; Step-son Eric Louvin and wife Megan of Odessa, Texas; and Step-son Aaron Louvin and wife Shannon of Willis, TX. He had seven grandchildren who were the light of his life: Cheyenne McGee, Maxwell Louvin, Scarlett Louvin, Ezra Louvin, Penelope Louvin, Edward Snyder, and Alec Snyder. His parents and mother-in-law preceded him in death. He is survived by his father -in-law D. D. Warren of Odessa, Texas, and Brother-in-law Dave Warren and wife Dee of Stuart, Virginia.
Don was a devoted and loving grandfather who doted on his children and grandchildren. Making their home in The Woodlands, Don and Debbie enjoyed spending time with their family swimming, boating, fishing, golfing, and riding his motorcycle.
Mr. McGee was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and grew up in Houston, Texas, graduating from Aldine High School.
He built a career in the Oil & Gas industry, and worked most of his life overseas from the North Sea, South America, Africa, Greece, Singapore, Italy, China, Russia, Nigeria, Malaysia, Scotland, and Mexico. During the last oil & gas recession, Mr. McGee briefly changed careers by owning and operating a chicken farm in Douglas, Texas.
Returning to Oil & Gas, his career later brought him to Odessa, Texas, where he met and married Deborah Warren . A job transfer soon brought them to The Woodlands, Texas where they made their home for the last six years.
Don was a family pillar, generous in every way. He had a proud devotion to his chosen endeavors. He will be remembered as a strong, loyal, moral man, who always put his family first. Their comfort and success was his first priority.
A private family memorial service will be held in Stuart, Virginia.
