Elizabeth “Betsy” Campbell, 86, departed from life on Sunday, August 1, 2021 with her family gathered around her. Betsy was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Huron Road Hospital with a degree in nursing.
As a nurse she worked within several areas of the medical field and hospitals, including the emergency room, the children’s burn unit, gastroenterology, just to name a few. She took her passion for nursing and in her spare time volunteered with the Red Cross, local and international mission work. Betsy truly had a servant’s heart and it was of her nature to always care for others.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, her three children Laura Penrod, Kenny Campbell and his wife Tracy and Ann Campbell, grandchildren Mackenzie and Tyler along with numerous other loving family members and a host of friends.
A memorial service celebrating Betsy’s life will be held at 10:00 am, Friday August, 6th 2021 at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church Holy Spirit, 12535 Perthshire, Houston, Texas 77024.
For those desiring and in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contribution be made in Betsy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association or Lord of the Streets.
