Elliot Christian Guillory

Born January 18, 1994, Elliot is survived by his father, Lloyd Joseph Guillory, Jr, his mother, Marissa Elias Guillory, his older sister, Olivia Anne Guillory, and his younger sister, Anna Elaine Guillory. He earned a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Texas and had prior engineering roles at Bechtel and Brown & Root.

From an early age, he brought joy, laughter, and love into the lives of those around him. His presence was a gift, and his memory will forever be treasured. Elliot was known for his precious chuckle, his love of music, his interest in books, and his love of community. He leaves behind loving relatives, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. Elliot's journey through life included struggles with his mental health, challenges that required tremendous strength and courage in ways that others may not have fully understood. However, those struggles never defined the person he was or diminished the love his family had for him. Elliot was, first and foremost, a beloved son, a cherished brother, and a deeply kind person whose life was precious. His family hopes that sharing this part of Elliot’s story will encourage greater compassion, understanding, and kindness toward those facing such challenges. May his memory serve as a reminder that everyone deserves love, patience, understanding, and support, especially during life's most difficult moments. Though his time on this earth has come to an end, the love he gave and the memories he created will never fade.

Forever our son, forever our brother, forever in our hearts. Rest peacefully, Elliot. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

In his memory, the family encourages others to approach those experiencing mental health challenges with compassion, understanding, and the reminder that no one should have to face their struggles alone.
