Emily was a 1998 Kingwood High School graduate, who later graduated with honors from Baylor University, Waco, TX. She was a special needs teacher after college.
Emily was a loving mother, devoted wife, precious daughter, amazing sister and compassionate friend. Her miracle recovery from a traumatic brain injury in September 2005, left her with very few outward limitations, and she bravely fought every step of the way to an amazing recovery. The Wilson and Plumberg families are forever grateful to the caring staff and physicians at TIRR and Memorial Herman-The Medical Center, for their guidance in helping her back.
Emily and her family were strong in their faith and active in the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral of Galveston-Houston. Even a recent move to the Woodlands couldn't take her away from her beloved downtown church, where she and Bradley were married in 2007.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I 45 South The Woodlands, TX 77384 on Tuesday, March 26. Services for Emily will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday March 27 at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph’s Parkway Houston, TX 77002. Interment will follow via escorted cortege at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
