Esther D. Lombardi passed away on November 18, 2016, at The Sugar Land Methodist Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas. She was born in Port Chester, Westchester County, New York. Esther had been a resident of The Woodlands, Texas, for 34 years and Houston, Texas, for the past 4 years. She was a graduate of The Woods Business School in New York City, worked in her family’s business, Jos. Delfino & Sons Wholesale Foods, and later worked side by side with her husband, Richard Lombardi, owner of W.E. Lawrence T.V. & Appliances Corporation in Port Chester, New York. After moving to Texas, Esther became a realtor, working at Century 21 and later ReMax North in The Woodlands, once again alongside her husband, Richard. She was a member of the National Association of Realtors, the American College of Realtors and the Harris County and Montgomery County Association of Realtors.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Terry Kenefic, and husband, Greg; grandsons, Ian Kenefic and Ryan Kenefic, all of Houston, Texas; along with nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lombardi was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Delfino; her loving husband, Richard Lombardi; loving son, Frank Richard Lombardi; and her brother, Joseph Delfino.
Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Monday, November 28, 2016, starting at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. Also in the chapel, the Funeral Liturgy will begin at 12:00 p.m. and will be followed by a reception in the adjacent event room. The Rite of Committal will take place in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
