Eva Madge Payne Rusler, 87, of Houston and The Woodlands passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018. She was born in Peach Tree Village, Texas, on May 11, 1931, the seventh of eight children. Eva graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston in 1948. She married her high school sweetheart, Byron K Rusler, on September 7, 1950.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Byron; and six of her brothers and sisters; and her grandson Steven Moore. She is survived by her three daughters, Dava Rusler King, Donna Rusler Dunn, and Diane Rusler Moore; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister Janette Payne Morgan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Eva’s life will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019, in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Immediately following the service, guests are invited to greet the family during a reception in the event room. Eva will join her husband, Byron, at noon on Thursday at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, where she will be interred.
