Frank L. Minor age 87, passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2014 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Maggie Minor. He is also survived by daughters and son-in-laws, Daphne and Bill Meador , Diana Minor and John Mata, granddaughters April and Casey, great-granddaughter, Melody, and nephew, Bruce Minor. Frank was born July 25, 1926 in Scottlandville, Louisiana to Frank Gordon and Mattie McCoy Minor. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from the United States Post Office.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Denise Elaine Minor. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Nettie Weitz; brother, Gordon Darrell Minor and niece, Pamela Simmons. The family is eternally grateful to Debbie Kendrick for her care during his final months. Funeral services will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands 18000 I-45 South the Woodlands, TX on April 16, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM.
