To George's family, my most sincere condolences.
  I worked with George on a number of projects, all good, a true gentleman, honest and highly respected.
  Will miss seeing him and visiting at the annual TAI meetings.
  He will be in my prayers.

Looking back at years of our family pictures, one thing is in common.  Whenever there was fun, whenever there was joy and Laughter, George was in the picture.  RIP. 

He was like my real father.
He was my hero. 
When he came to Japan,he gave me  a dozens  postcard and said”Uma wa hasitte imasu” .It means a horse is running. I’m not a big horse fun.He got dozens the horse postcard to just say that. I guess he practice the Japanese sentence very hard.
This episode always make me laugh.
I was lucky that I met you!


I have so many memories. But the one that sticks out the most is when he taught me to be fearless. We were all at the beach for one of the annual group vacations. I was scared to go into the water because of sharks. All the other grown ups just told me that there were no sharks. I knew that was not true. George scooped me up and marched in in the water with me on his hip. He said there were sharks but they would not get me. And I believed him. I swam all day. Thank you Uncle George for being larger than life. You will be missed.

Randy and Keith - across all our years, I thought your family was the coolest. Wonderful home, warm, always fun, and honestly charming; the kind of thing I could feel intuitively as a child, yet is hard to qualify now, so many decades later.  Your Dad was key to that, in his subtle and earnest and humorous way. Great stories, food, toys, games, holidays, vacations, and all the rest. 

He will always be a smiling in my memories. 

I am so sorry for your loss!  George will be sorely missed. I “always hoped to see him again”. Friend, and ex brother in-law to  me but he and my husband, Joe, also  had a special bond as business associates beyond our family connection. Thankful I was able to stay  in touch. Wishing I could say something memorable but words escape me. 
My sympathies to you all in losing such a fine man..

He was a treasured friend and colleague for 30 years who I can never replace. Our years at Trifinery brought us together but kept many of us friends to this day. His generosity, sense of humor, loyalty and love for his family are the greatest tribute to the man he was. He will be missed. 

Having encouraged George to work till he drop, 
I'd never thought that it would come so soon; 
Having broker/witness a bet amongst friends, 
I'd never thought that he would make it a boon
to a friend and to a family in need.

George was always kind, dealt squarely, fairly, and lived fully.  
He served us well and is sorely missed.
Knowing George he wouldn't miss a beat,
Whispering to St Peter -- treat us kindly in our time of need.



Although I only knew him for a couple of years it was always a pleasure to spend time with George and hear his many stories of years gone by.  I was fortunate enough to play a round of golf with George a few weeks ago and we we were able to have a couple of hot dogs and several gin and tonics. We had a good chat and some laughs before they kicked us out of the club.  George will be sorely missed. God Bless and may he Rest In Peace.

Having worked with George for over 30 years, it is no exaggeration to say that he has left an indelible mark on me both personally and professionally.  George led a life well lived.  I know he loved his family above all else and cherished his time with them.  

George will be missed very much, but remembered very well.

He will always be remembered by me as Mr. Grace, the cool, funny, and fun dad of my childhood friends Randy and Kieth. I grew up spending summers swimming at the lake in Wildwood, that is until The Graces moved to town and built a real in-ground swimming pool! Mr. Grace would sometimes grill hot dogs or burgers while we swam. Sleep overs were always fun too. I remember making “movies” with Randy using his dad’s new Video Camera, playing bumper pool, and being amazed by the Pong video-game he got the boys for Christmas one year. Life in the 70’s was super cool!! What fun memories Mr. Grace - George, helped us to make with each other. Cherish those! 

George was the first friend I met in our industry in 1987. He remained a loyal and trusting friend thru out all the years. I will sincerely miss him and will always remember the amazing times we had together. Our deepest condolences go out to Sally and his family. May God bless all of you as we celebrate the life of a truly amazing man. 

George was a supplier, customer,  colleague and friend for 25 years. We didn't have a cross word in all that time, and we did have a lot of laughs. George was an all round good bloke and he will be sorely missed.

I met George in 1977 at a business meeting in Chicago and we have been friends ever since. He helped me get a job for which i'm eternally grateful. He was witty ,funny, and sincere. I will always remember him fondly and shall miss him!

I am so sorry to learn of George's passing.  I have known and worked with George for many years in the asphalt and oil industry.  In fact since about 1986.  We were not only work colleages, but became good friends too.  George will be missed by many people who knew  him and worked with him.  Rest in Peace dear friend.

I've worked with George for the past 8 years and the news of his passing saddened me deeply.  He was a great example as one who exhibited passion and working hard for doing a job well-done. There will definitely be an emptiness at the office without his presence.  

The beautiful photos here show what a loving family man George was.  My condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to you all, I can only imagine the void you will feel with this loss.
