

his home on August 6, 2021. George was born in Centerville, Iowa on March 15, 1943 where he lived until a move to Cedar Falls at the age of 15.
He graduated high school and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Northern Iowa. During his time at university, he met the love of his life, Diane. George and Diane married June 19, 1965 shortly after his graduation.
George accepted a post at International Harvester Company, began his career, and children soon followed. Work would take them from Davenport, Iowa to Aiken, South
Carolina; from Aiken to Pleasanton, California; from Pleasanton to The Woodlands, Texas; from The Woodlands to Irvine, California; from Irvine to Glendale, California; and lastly from Glendale to Tustin, California. Each move along the way and through the years advanced him in his career.
He finally retired from his last post from AC Tech, where he served as CEO. When he retired, George & Diane settled back in The Woodlands and rejoined the congregation at WoodsEdge Community Church where they were active in ministry and missions.
George is preceded in death by Diane, his beloved wife of 56 years.
He is survived by son Jeff & husband Martin Ochoa, son Chris & wife Rhonda, and their daughters Skylar & Rhylan; sister Barbara Frewing, nephew John Frewing & wife Kelly, and nephew Tim Frewing & wife Maddy; Brother-in-Law Jim Miller & wife Linda, niece Allison Grangenet & husband Eric and family, and nephew Ben Miller & wife Amy and family.
George was interred on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Forest Park in a private graveside ceremony with available family attending.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Forest Park, The Woodlands. Details can be accessed through the Forest Park, The Woodlands website.
