

Haskell O. Butler, age 94, of Conroe, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Pasadena. He was born September 25, 1915, in Scottsburg, Indiana. He married Doris Katherine Johnson December 24, 1940.
He served in the United States Army Calvary breaking horses in Cheyenne Wyoming and Fort Ord California for four years. He worked for Armco Steel for 30 years. He and Doris moved to Conroe in 1978 after retirement and were members of The Woodland Hills Church of Christ in Conroe.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, Doris Katherine Butler of Conroe; son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Dona Butler of Pasadena; daughter and son-in-law Dorothy and Glenn Bollman of Deer Park; four grandchildren; Jason Bollman and wife Rhonda Lynn of Katy; Jared Bollman and wife Lauren of Tomball; Justin Bollman and wife Rhonda Gayle of Pearland; Jordan Bollman of Deer Park; three great grandchildren; Preston Bollman, Ethan Bollman and Katy Bollman; one sister Elma Leonardt of Cleveland, Tx.
He was preceded in death by a brother; Roy Butler of Indiana; and three sisters; Alberta Kirby of Oregon; Burlena Emmrich of Indiana, and Velma Haley of Houston.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 27, 2010 with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M., in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
