Dutch was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma on January 2, 1935. He graduated from Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, Texas and went on to continue his education at University of Texas at Austin where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.
Dutch married his beloved Sandra on July 20, 1968. They raised their 4 children together and enjoyed almost 57 years of marriage, a testament to their unending love and devotion.
Dutch had a long and successful career in Geology working for both Schlumberger and Sonat Exploration. His work was also his passion as he loved rock formations. He was also interested in genealogy and learning about the family's origins.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Dodd, his children Gary Dodd, Randy Williams (Leta), Sandi Haynes (Terry) and Clyde Williams (Iris), grandchildren Michael Haynes, Lindsey Cooper, Jennifer Dodd, Cynthia Williams, Morgan Carter, Andrea Barta and Kenia Hernandez, and 14 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on July 21, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. Following the funeral service, a burial will take place on the same day from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the same location. A reception will be held on July 21, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm also at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery.
