She was born in Lagos, Nigeria on February 12, 1935, graduated from the University of Reading, UK with a B.A. Ed. Degree and an Advanced Diploma in Early Education.
She was married to Mobolanle Ajomale on December 27, 1958.
Helen worked in as an elementary and middle school teacher for over forty years and later founded her own creche and nursery school - Sesame Seed Day Nursery - in Lagos, Nigeria.
She was a member of various church and philanthropic organizations and had a passion for cooking and sewing.
With never a dull moment, she was known for her effervescent and witty personality throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mobolanle Ajomale.
She is survived by:
