Jaclyn was born in Houston, Texas on February 10, 1978, to Joe Dichero and Janice Dearman and passed away on September 26, 2023, after a 7-month battle with brain cancer. Jaclyn graduated from Spring High School, and then went on to earn a degree in business from the University of Houston, and later discovered her passion for teaching where she spent 18 years, the majority in Magnolia ISD. Jaclyn was instrumental in building the REACH gifted and talented program. She was passionate about challenging her students' creativity, higher level thinking skills, and building their confidence to succeed in their future education.
Jaclyn and Michael were happily married for 20 years and made a wonderful team, making their family a priority, and still finding time to enjoy each other’s company while dancing and listening to live music. Jaclyn found the most joy in spending time with her family, whether she was at the lake, at the baseball field cheering on her son, watching her daughter cheer, or on a girl’s shopping trip with her mom and sister. Her other loves were running and volunteering her time for others through NCL.
Jaclyn is survived by her husband Michael Finke, as well as their children, Grant and Madelyn Finke, her mother Janice Dearman and her husband, John Dearman, her father’s wife Darlene Dichero, grandmother: Delores Pavlicek, her sister Jennifer Battista and her brother-in-law Derek Battista, in-laws: Larry and Shirley Finke, Jennifer and Rob Rayphole.
Nieces and nephews: Luke and Mallory Battista, Morgan and Nathan Rayphole. She is preceded in death by her father Joe Dichero Jr.
