Jim served in the United States Air Force for January 13, 1957 through December 20, 1968. He was a staff sergeant and received Cold War recognition certificate and “Turn out perfection” award for outstanding along with many other letters of recognition.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Linda Bengtson-Booth; sister, Trisha Booth from Pescataway, NJ; godson, Dr. Jimi Joslin from Denver, Colorado and many loved and cherished nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will be held at 1:00 PM on March 2, 2012 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. A memorial service will be held in Portland, Oregon prior to burial time and place to be announced.
