James Louis Brand, 67, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away March 9, 2012. He was born January 11, 1945 in Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late Alvin August Brand and June Patricia Kidd Brand Qualls. He is also preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Mayo. James is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Diane Brand; children Larry Gosnell, Jim Brand, Richard S. Brand, Melissa Brand, Darrel Lewis and wife Cyndi; grandchildren Caleb James Brand, Collen Bradley, Michaela Lecompte, Tyler, Danielle and Kayla Brand; brother Robert Brand and wife Carol; and brother-in-law Ray Mayo.
James served in the United States Army and was a member of VFW Post #5077 and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed riding his Harley “Clyde the Electric Glide”.
A celebration of James’s life is set for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 24, 2012 in the Chapel in the Woods at Fellowship of The Woodlands, 1 Fellowship Dr., The Woodlands, Texas 77382.
