James was the definition of a family man. His heart rested in the hands of the family unit he had created. He spoiled his wife with love and affection since the moment they met over 40 years ago. Together they created a family that James strived everyday to be someone worth looking up to. He dedicated his life to the United States Army and served for thirty-four years, recently retiring to be able to spend more time with his grandkids that he absolutely adored.
He was so passionate about his culture and made sure his son and grandkids knew where they came from. He taught them Hawaiian words from the time they were born and wanted to teach them to surf, hula dance and he couldn’t wait to see his grandson in karate classes.
He was a Hawaiian man with a California heart and a country soul. He loved riding motorcycles, playing guitar, watching football (Go Boomer!) and golf, and the ocean.
Preceded in death by his mother and father Helen and Anthony Brigoli and three siblings.
Survived by his wife Robin Elizabeth Brigoli, Son James Ola-Alikalani Brigoli Jr, His wife Kayla Brigoli, Grandkids Hannah Raylen Young, Kayla Noelani Brigoli, Makenzi Nohea Brigoli and Ethan Kalani Brigoli, four brothers and two sisters.
