James attended Conroe High and received an Honorary Associate Degree for Applied Sciences from Lee College in Baytown, Texas. After college, he had a career as an electrician for MP Technologies. He was a member of the IBEW Local Union 66 and had a passion for camping, kayaking, motorcycles, Nascar, and shooting pool.
He is survived by his mother; Ludivina Barr, his Stepfather; Vernon Barr, his sister; Natalie Menge, brother-in-law; Mathias Menge, his nieces: Chelsea, Sarah, and Hannah, and his Great Nephew; Jordan.
A visitation for James will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park - The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A funeral will occur Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
The family has requested that everyone must be dressed at a minimal in business casual and that no pictures shall be taken in the chapel.
