James Barthell Roberson passed away November 28, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer. Born March 10, 1938, in Wynneburg, Tennessee, he attended the University of Tennessee and went on to attend Abilene Christian. He is survived by son Edward and daughter Karla, grandchildren Blake, Loralee and Wyatt, and numerous friends all over the country. His passion for travel took him to many places in the U.S. and the world. His passion for life was second only to his passion for friends, followed by a deep love for music, especially Gospel. He would regularly watch Trains and Locomotives which brought back childhood memories for him. He will be dearly missed by all that came to know him. The best gift he could conceive of would be a donation to St. Jude's in Memphis Tennessee. A brief memorial service will be held December 12 at 2:00 P.M. at Forest Park The Woodlands.
