Jane Scheu Prescott, age 79, of Willis, Texas, passed away on July 18, 2026. She was born on January 6, 1947, in Queens, New York, to Andrew and Elizabeth Scheu. She was married to Fred Prescott on May 11, 2001. She retired in 2013, after a long career at Fayez Sarofim & Company.
Jane will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her unconditional love, and her incredible sense of humor. Our memories of her are filled with laughter from the times we spent together. She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader and delighted in all of her loved ones’ achievements, no matter the milestone.
Jane is survived by her loving husband Fred Prescott, her children Christopher Roberts (Genevieve), Thomas Roberts (April), and stepchildren Tracy Crumpler (Michael), Charlie Prescott (Jacquie) and Katie Prescott. She is also survived by her grandchildren Madeleine, Tucker, William, Elizabeth, Clara, Cade and Jace. She took great pride in all of her children and grandchildren and cherished the deep family bonds they created.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held in the Grand Hall at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, TX 77384, US, on July 31, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the Grand Hall from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Graveside Service will take place at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
