Janet D Fink

Janet was born to Emil and Edith Blasko on December 11, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in Queens, NY in 1963.

Janet moved from New York City to Houston, Texas in 1980 and began her 30 year career at Exxon before retiring in 2010. She married John R. Fink in 1983. Janet was a proud mom of 3 daughters.

Janet was beautiful, brave and sassy. She never shied giving her opinion, always proud of her New York roots.

She was happiest with family around and always said family was her greatest blessing.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents

Emil and Edith Blasko. She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years; John R. Fink, her loving sister; Carole Guerra, and her 3 beautiful daughters and son in laws; Nicole McWhorter and husband Andrew McWhorter, Melissa Duba and husband Andrew Duba, Chelsea Woods and husband Zachary Woods. She is survived by 7 grandchildren who knew her as their “Beba.” Her pride and love for them will stay with them always; Owen, Nola, Jacob, Brody, Piper, Drew and Logan.
