Janet Merle Patrick

Janet Merle Patrick, 75, of Conroe, Texas passed away in her home on September 1, 2026. Born November 3, 1950 to the Thorne family, she dedicated her life to the service and care of others. Janet worked as a Nurse, bringing healing, comfort, and compassion to countless people during her 45 year career. While she touched many lives professionally her greatest joy and proudest achievement was her family. Mother to 4 and grandma to 10 grandchildren, Nana was always her favorite title. She loved the Lord and was always willing to speak about her faith. She loved Sci-fi and to read. She would often read books her children and grandchildren were reading just so she could talk with them about it. She was a lover of crafting and and DIY projects, including sewing her own dresses and costumes. She had a wonderful sense of humor and it could be said, she was a prankster.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her sister Louise, her brother Mike, her son Stephen, her grand-daughter Kaitlyn, and her nephew John.

A Memorial Service will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery in the Grand Hall, located at 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384, on September 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Catered Reception will follow in the R.L. Wood event room from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
