Jay Maglin August 2, 1932 to December 15, 2011, Resident of The Woodlands, Tx. After a courageous battle, Jay passed away peacefully at his home in The Woodlands. Jay was born and raised in New York. He was a medic in the Navy. He spent several years working on Wall Street as a Stock broker and eventually retired from the US Post Office.
He was one of three children born to the late Herman and Ida Maglin and was preceeded in death by his previous wives Freda and Connie. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda Maglin. Jay will forever be remembered by his beloved children Roy, Bill, step son Shannon, and step daughter Shelly, treasured by 6 grandchildren, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Jay delighted in discussing politics, watching the stock market, traveling the world, and being with family.
Jay touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 2pm at Forest Park The Woodlands. A viewing will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 6-8pm at Forest Park the Woodlands.
