Jeff was born on November 23, 1957 in Great Falls, Montana to Jane and Marvin Sunderland and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Missouri S&T where he studied Mechanical Engineering and traveled the globe as a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager with Chevron Oil.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mandy of The Woodlands, Texas; son, Michael of Portland, Oregon; his sisters, Sue Hollingshead and husband Kevin, Dianne Painter and husband J.D.; brother Dan Sunderland; and his extended family around the world. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom, in 2007, and daughter, Irene Eve, 18, in May of this year.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 13. 2022 at Congregation Beth Shalom located at 5125 Shadowbend Pl, The Woodlands, Texas 77381. Shiva information may be obtained through the synagogue. Memorial donations may be sent to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation at pkdcure.org.
