Though his time with us was far too short, Jeremiah filled his days with energy, enthusiasm, and a love for the simple joys of life. He enjoyed boxing, skateboarding, and gaming which reflected his adventurous spirit and brought him many happy moments. A lover of animals, he enjoyed caring for his beloved cat, Little Bit, and his bearded dragon. Above all else, Jeremiah will be remembered for his deep love for his community of friends who became family and his family who were among his best friends. His happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people he loved, creating memories that his family and friends will carry with them forever.
Jeremiah was preceded in death by Becky and Servando Garza, Charles and Pat Krest, Willy and Carolyn Busch, and Eugena Childress.
He is survived by his parents Ashley Childress, and Michael and Amanda Childress; sibling Jonas Childress; grandparents Nelda Garza, Richard Krest, Steve and Wanda Childress, and Sam and Denise Bullock; step-siblings Piper and Raymond Mosley; aunts and uncles Crystal Krest, Justin and Rachel Krest, Kyle Krest, and Matthew and Lazara Childress; and cousins Coryna Alexander, Dante Krest, Markus and Markeese Salley, and Curtis and Natalia Childress.
Serving as pallbearers are Jonas Childress, Dante Krest, Tyler Pegan, Markus Salley, Markeese Salley, Blake Odell, Justin Krest, and "Boss".
