Jerome Hebert Jr.

May 6, 1964 – March 9, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerome, who left us on March 9, 2025, at the age of 60. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, whose love for life, laughter, and the people around him was truly infectious.

Born on May 6, 1964, in Houston, Tx. Jerome grew up with a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. He found his greatest happiness in fishing on quiet mornings, shooting pool with good friends, and spending cherished moments with his family. Whether he was sharing stories, cracking jokes, or offering a helping hand, his presence brought warmth and joy to those who knew him.

Jerome is survived by his son Jay Hebert III and family Erica and Audrey; his loving mother Tommie Jo and stepdad Bill Briggs; his older brother Harold and family Terry and Alesha Casner; and his youngest brother Stacey and family Grace, Nicolas, Victoria and Elizabeth Burns; best friend Dudley and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His love and kindness will live on in their hearts forever.

Though he has cast his last line and played his last game of pool, his spirit will remain in every sunrise on the water, every laughter-filled gathering, and in the hearts of all who loved him.

Rest easy, Jerome. You will be deeply missed.
