Jim Ray Neatherlin Jr. of The Woodlands, Texas, was called home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at the age of 39. He was born on March 2, 1979, in Houston, Texas, as the only child to parents Jim Ray and Connie Neatherlin.
He graduated from Waller High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
Jim married the love of his life, Iryna Shevchenko at Thorn Crown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, on June 11, 2006. He attended WoodsEdge Community Church in The Woodlands, Texas.
He was a loving son, husband, and father. Jim was a caring person and a courageous, thoughtful business owner with Covey Transport, Transport Network, and numerous other business ventures.
Visitation will be held at WoodsEdge Community Church on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow beginning at 2:00 PM.
Pall Bearers will be Randy Newton, Jeff Tarver, Barkley Lindsey, Ryan Barenklau, Adam Faske and Andrew Faske.
Jim is survived by his wife, Iryna; children, Maxim and Julia of The Woodlands; father, Jim Ray Neatherlin Sr.; mother, Connie Neatherlin of Montgomery; grandparents, Covey and Nina Lou Neatherlin of Waller; also James and Jeanette Faske of Willis; uncle, Kenneth Neatherlin of College Station; aunt, Deborah Barenklau of Borger; and uncle, Mark Faske of LaGrange.
