Jodi is survived by her parents, Marshall and Elene Kurtzman of Jackson NJ, and by sisters Sharon Halloran and Ronna Platt of Texas. Also, Aunt Rochelle Feinberg and Uncle Howard Moretsky and nephews David Halloran, Andy Halloran, Aaron Platt and niece Sarah Platt and many cousins.
Jodi is remembered by her exuberant love of life, expressed in her singing, dancing and music making. For the past 20 years, while living happily at Bancroft in Marlton and Voorhees, what she loved most was to sing in the Joyful Noise choral group. Her cheerful personality brightened every performance, whether it be at rehearsals, or at concerts performed around NJ and at several Universities such as Harvard, Yale, Lehigh, and Temple.
Jodi fought many obstacles but was driven, loved, and supported in everything she ever wanted to do or be. In New Jersey Special Olympics, Jodi was a gold medal winner, participating in track and field, softball, bowling, and tennis. She was her own best cheerleader.
Jodi will be forever missed, but her bright spirit, loving heart and willfulness will remain with us forever.
