Jose “Joe” Torres Ybarra, 58, of The Woodlands, TX, passed away December 17, 2010 in Houston, TX. He was born February 19, 1952 in Slaton, TX. Joe is preceded in death by his mother Teresita Torres Ybarra and sister Olivia Ybarra. He is survived by his father Tiodoro Ybarra; children James Ybarra and wife Sonia, Jason Michael Ybarra and Miranda Breann Ybarra; granddaughter Ava Nicole Ybarra; girlfriend Janette Stout; brother Ernest Ybarra and wife Susie; sister Minerva Aleman and husband Daniel; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Joe was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
Joe was a supervisor for over 30 years at various different warehouses. He was currently a shipping supervisor for CVS Distribution Center. He loved playing softball, golf and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech Red Raiders fan.
A celebration of Joe’s life is set for 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 20, 2010 in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
