Keith Alan Shilson

Keith was born in Houston on December 13, 1978. He graduated from Westfield High School and continued his education at the University of Houston. Keith was a very successful Marketing Director for NABD, a national automotive dealer training company. In addition, he provided consulting and marketing services for other companies through his proprietorship, IGH Marketing, which is an acronym for In God's Hands.

Keith was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity at University of Houston. He had a passion for basketball, baseball, football and boxing, in which he actively participated. Keith was also an avid collector of sports memorabilia, a hobby which began as a young child and continued through his adult life. Keith loved animals and was a devoted cat dad to his two cats, Gizzie and Sims.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Herbert and Ethelwyn Shilson and John and Mary Varvari; uncle Richard Shilson; and cousin James Shilson.

He is survived by his parents Ken and Kathy Shilson; sister Kristin Shilson; Aunts Karren Shilson and her children David and Jana and their children Jacob and Hadley, and Marlene Rydberg and husband George; and cousin Brian Haid.

His happiest memories were attending Houston and national sporting events and socializing with family and many friends. He was an outgoing person who enjoyed meeting others, making them smile, and improving their day.

Services for Keith will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home and Cemetery, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384 on Thursday, June 11, 2026. A Visitation will take place at 11:00 am to be followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm which will be officiated by Pastor Dustin Reitzel of Woodlands Church. A Committal Service will occur at 1:00 pm, with a reception immediately afterward from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
