Kendra Norene McDonald

Kendra N. McDonald was born on February 20, 1958, in Peoria, Illinois, to Cornelius (Joller) McDonald and Sherry Williams. She spent her early childhood in Peoria, lovingly raised by her maternal grandparents at the Taft Home. As an adolescent, she moved to California to live with her mother, where she continued to grow, learn, and build the foundation of the remarkable life she would lead.

Kendra began her professional career with Amgen in California, a role that allowed her to travel the world and experience cultures far beyond her hometown roots. Her ambition and independence were evident in every chapter of her life, including her purchase and sale of a condominium in Calabasas, California - an accomplishment she was proud of.

After retiring from Amgen, Kendra relocated to Spring, Texas, where she made her home for more than twenty years. She quickly became known and loved in her community for her engaging personality, warm spirit, and the radiant smile that would brighten any room she entered. Her presence was a gift - uplifting, genuine, and unforgettable.

Kendra passed away on July 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of strength, independence, and joy.

She is mourned by her daughter Tiffany McDonald, her grandchildren Janel Levingston and Kingston Goge, along with a host of loving family members who will forever cherish her memory.

Kendra was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, her mother and father, and her siblings Michael Allcon, Randi Bousual, and Lois Gaines.

Her light, her laughter, and her unforgettable smile will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
