

He was born in New York on 01/12/1954. Ken was a Marine his entire life but served his country for over 20 years. He retired a Master Sergeant and served in Vietnam and the Gulf War. He was highly respected and received many medals and honors for his service to his country. He was a protector and continued his career as a Sheriff and then on to other Security positions. He was very passionate about his time in the service and expressed this by sharing his journey with descriptive stories about his experiences to family, friends and strangers. He led the charge to recruit friends and family to join the Marines-“Marines All the Way!” he would say.
He was proceeded in death by his mother Gloria, father Levi, brother “Butch” Washington and sister “Cookie” Washington. He is survived by his wife of 36 years-Carol Bradshaw Ford, daughter Christina Ford Arellano (Vanessa Arellano) step-children Mike, Don, and Robyn, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, his twin brother Keith Ford, brother Louis Ford, sisters Jean (Andre) Laurant, Janice Smith, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10 am, November 22nd, at Forest Park-The Woodlands Funeral Home.
