Lawrence Keith “Larry” McAfee, Sr., 89, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 31, 2016. Larry was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on February 11, 1927. He graduated from San Jacinto High School in Houston, Texas, and went on to attend the University of Texas in Austin until he entered military service to serve his country in World War II. Larry also served in the Air Force Reserves in the Korean conflict and remained in military service for over 30 years as an Air Force Reserves Staff Sergeant.

Larry was a draftsman and worked for several years in the oil and gas industry. Larry was a faithful member of the Southwest Church of Christ and servant of our Lord. He and Terri loved traveling the United States and spending summers with family and friends on the Frio River in Texas.
