Leon Frank “Rod” Boone II, aged 59, of Montgomery, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017. He was born in Mission, Texas, on April 12, 1958.

Rod graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Houston and was married to Heidi Marie Griesedieck on July 1, 1978. He received an associate’s degree in computer science from Massey College and had a career in information technology, working for Joske’s, Baker Service Tools, Toshiba, National Oilwell, and Wilson Solutions. Rod had a passion for music, motorcycles, fishing, woodworking, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Rod is survived by his wife, Heidi Boone; daughter, Jaclyn Boone Sheeren and her husband, Nicholas; grandson, William “Liam” Daniel Sheeren; and sister, Tamie Boone Logan and her husband, William.

A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Immediately following the service, a reception will take place in Forest Park’s event room.
