Born in Fort Hood, Texas, on January 18, 1966, Leslie was an avid and joyful learner with unmatched perseverance. She completed a Bachelors of Science in Information Management from George Mason University’s College of Business and later achieved a Masters and Post-Masters in Educational Psychology from Pepperdine University and Seattle University respectively.
Leslie excelled in her fields of study and was an extraordinary communicator, which she utilized as both a public school counselor and account executive/partner manager for companies such as IBM, SAP, Cisco, and Ednetics. However, her most notable professional accomplishment was the founding and more than 20-year tenure as president of LeoAdventures, her public service company. Despite all those accomplishments, the role she found the most rewarding was being a wife and mother, raising her two sons and enjoying 29 years of marriage to her loving husband.
While she held many passions, Leslie’s faith in Christ was at the forefront of everything she did. Her faith pervaded all aspects of her life, and her unwavering love for the Lord in the midst of her struggle with cancer was an inspiration to all who knew her. She never missed an opportunity to share the gospel and show others the love of Christ, even at the hospital just days away from passing. She just as fiercely loved her family and would spend as much time as she could playing with, reading to, or caring for her three granddaughters - Finley, Charlotte, and Josephine.
Leslie is survived by said grandchildren, as well as her father LTC K. Richard Brunner, Jr, USA (Retired), sister Lisa, brother Bryan, husband of 29 years William, two sons Jack and Cole, and their wives Maria and Samantha. She was preceded in death by her first husband Capt John C. Krafft, USMC, and mother, Florence.
