Ligia Aurora Olivan

With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of Ligia Aurora Olivan, she passed away peacefully on June 26th in Montgomery, TX leaving behind a legacy of love, dignity, and cherished memories.

Ligia was a devout Catholic, deeply admired for her elegance, kindness, generosity, strength, and unwavering love for her family and the Lord. She carried herself with warmth and poise, touching everyone she met with her sincerity and compassion.

To those who knew her best, Ligia was simply the best wife, mother and Educator in the world. She shared a beautiful and loving marriage of over 40 years to Carlos Olivan filled with partnership, tenderness, and mutual respect. As a mother, she was a constant source of support, wisdom, and unconditional love. She raised her children, Suzette and Carlos Jr. with care and pride, nurturing their dreams and always placing their happiness above her own.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the profound love she gave so freely and the many lives she touched. Her legacy lives on in the family she so fiercely loved, in the values she upheld, the many children she taught through her almost 30-year career as an educator and in the countless acts of kindness she performed without ever seeking recognition. She will be missed beyond words but remembered always with gratitude, admiration, and boundless love.

She is survived by her husband Carlos Olivan, daughter and son in law Suzette and Christopher Dennis, son and daughter in law Carlos Jr and Erica Olivan, her mother Oliva Ortiz and siblings.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 6:00 PM.

A Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 109 N Frazier St, Conroe, TX 77301, on Wednesday July 2, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

A Committal Service will follow at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, on July 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM.

Con profundo pesar y amor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Ligia Aurora Olivan. Falleció en paz el 26 de junio en Montgomery, Texas, dejando un legado de amor, dignidad y preciados recuerdos.

Ligia era una católica devota, profundamente admirada por su elegancia, bondad, generosidad, fortaleza y amor inquebrantable por su familia y el Señor. Se portaba con calidez y aplomo, conmoviendo a todos con su sinceridad y compasión.

Para quienes la conocieron mejor, Ligia fue simplemente la mejor esposa, madre y educadora del mundo. Compartió un hermoso y amoroso matrimonio de más de 40 años con Carlos Olivan, lleno de compañerismo, ternura y respeto mutuo. Como madre, fue una fuente constante de apoyo, sabiduría y amor incondicional. Crió a sus hijos, Suzette y Carlos Jr., con cariño y orgullo, alimentando sus sueños y siempre priorizando su felicidad por encima de la suya.

Aunque tenemos el corazón roto, encontramos consuelo en el profundo amor que brindó con tanta generosidad y en las vidas que tocó. Su legado perdura en la familia que amó con tanta intensidad, en los valores que defendió, en los numerosos niños que enseñó a lo largo de sus casi 30 años de carrera como educadora y en los innumerables actos de bondad que realizó sin buscar reconocimiento. La extrañaremos profundamente, pero siempre la recordaremos con gratitud, admiración y un amor infinito.

Le sobreviven su esposo Carlos Olivan, su hija y llerno Suzette y Christopher Dennis, su hijo y nuera Carlos Jr. y Erica Olivan, su madre Oliva Ortiz y sus hermanos.

El velatorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria y Cementerio Forest Park The Woodlands, ubicada en 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, el martes 1 de julio de 2025, de 17:00 a 19:00, con el rezo del Rosario a las 18:00.

La misa funeral se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica del Sagrado Corazón, ubicada en 109 N Frazier St, Conroe, TX 77301, el miércoles 2 de julio de 2025, de 10:30 a 11:30.

El servicio de entierro se realizará posteriormente en la Funeraria y Cementerio Forest Park The Woodlands, ubicada en 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384, el 2 de julio de 2025, de 12:00 a 12:15.
