Linda Joan Geuss

Linda Geuss, who loved to be called “Nana” by her grandkids, departed her loving family on July 30, 2022. Linda was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, on November 12, 1954, to Helen and Lino Fetonti. Linda was mother to Amy, Kristin, and Christopher, whom she raised as her son from birth. She raised her children with love and devotion in Stamford, CT, Mandeville, LA, and The Woodlands, TX, with her husband, Jack. As a Registered Nurse, Linda was known for her compassion and dedication. She loved taking care of the geriatric population, which served her well when she transitioned into her second career as a pre- school teacher. Her hobbies included reading, backgammon, putting up her Christmas village, playing cards, the beach, and seeing her family. She was most proud of her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Lino, her mother and father-in-law Joseph and Dorothy, her brother Paul, and brother-in-law Eddie. She is survived by her husband, Jack, two daughters Amy and Kristin (Tod), and grandchildren Christopher, Jasmine, Hayden, and Isabel. Aside from the immediate family, Linda is survived by her mother, Helen, sister Nancy, and sister and Brother-in-law, Mary Beth and Bob. Services will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands on August 5, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Montgomery County Women’s Center (936-441-4044, mcwctx.org)
