Linda Louise Irvin, age 78, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born April 16, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Laura Ethel Bennett and Orville Dewitt Bennett. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 39 years, Lloyd Arlington Irvin, who passed away in March 2021.
Linda will be lovingly remembered by her children Laura Johnson (Marcus) and Jason Brewer (Deanna); and her stepchildren Lloyd “Aaron” Irvin (Casey) and Kimberly Matthews (Donnie). She was a proud grandmother to Kyle Coronado (Cassandra), Joshua Coronado (Carsen), Holly Brewer, Allyson Brewer, Madison Brewer, Abigail Brewer, AJ Irvin, and Carson Irvin, and a joyful great-grandmother to Isaac Coronado.
In 2021, Linda moved to North Richland Hills to be closer to her daughter Laura and to spend time with her grandchildren. Linda was blessed by the kind and faithful love of her caregiver Monica Tennison, who brought great comfort in her final years.
Linda had a vibrant spirit and a love for life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. Linda enjoyed celebrating the holidays with her family. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, shopping, dining out, and traveling with her husband; especially trips that included a stop at the casino. Her warmth, sense of humor, and generous heart touched all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Visitation will be held 11:00-12:30 in the Magnolia Room at Forest Park – The Woodlands Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1:00pm. All who knew and loved Linda are invited to join her family in honoring her beautiful life and legacy.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
